Material and process
The blanks are anodised aluminium, black or gold. The laser removes the anodised layer, so the mark is not printed on but part of the metal: it does not rub off, does not fade in the sun and survives a wallet. Business cards are 85 by 54 millimetres, tags 60 by 35, both engraved in-house in Dietzenbach.
Prices and quantities
The configurator calculates while you design, from the engraved area and the run time, and shows the price per piece for ten, twenty-five, fifty, a hundred and two hundred and fifty. Setup is spread across the run, which is why ten pieces cost a multiple of what two hundred and fifty cost each. 39 € is the smallest order worth running. The figure in the configurator is a guide; the binding quote comes from me, usually the same day.
You keep the file
Every design can be downloaded as SVG or as a LightBurn file with the cutting settings already assigned. That means you are not tied to me: any engraving shop can open the SVG, and whoever runs LightBurn has the layers, the shapes and the images ready to go. Batch engraving works from a list, one line per piece, placeholders in the text.
Laser engraving in the Rhine-Main region
Engraved in Dietzenbach, between Offenbach and Rodgau. Collection in person is possible by arrangement, everything else goes by post. For businesses in Frankfurt, Offenbach, Hanau or Darmstadt that is usually a day of postage.
